In a futuristic world, men are superior. Women are only there to populate. Meet Uri, a young boy quickly approaching his 13th birthday, which is a huge celebration of his becoming a man, but he's not sure if being a man is all its cracked up to be. Meet Carrie-Anne, a 12 year old girl. Her mother has always told her to stay quiet and agree with what the Superior have said, no matter what. She will be a woman soon, which means it will be her turn to help populate. Her mother has always come back shaken from the Room, and she is scared. Uri and Carrie-Anne shouldn't meet. They can't, they're from two different worlds, but fate has been known to change. And that's exactly what happens.

"I'm stuck on this stage, trying to hold back the tears. Everyone forcefully cheering, even though we're just another part of their games. They'll never see us again. I'm dead to them now." What would of happened if Katniss hadn't have took Primrose Everdeen's place in the annual Hunger Games? And instead of Peeta, another poor 13 year old boy was chosen? In this tale of survival, fear and love, we find out about what it really would of been like if Prim was the girl tribute for District 12.
