Underneath his clothes I could tell his fur was black as coal and yet, red stripes seemed to break up the darkness, highlighting his features. Sonic was ready to sacrefice his life to save his friends, but he couldn't. With Shadow they escaped the burning Island, but they didn't remember where they were, and how they got there.
