ApocalypsicEclipse
"Seokmin, can we talk? Just for a moment, please."
"You have 5 seconds, make it quick."
And suddenly, all the words I'd been meaning to say for the past week got stuck in my throat. Just say it Joshua, it's now or never, I told myself. The words never came
"One. Two. Three. You're running out of time here."
"Seokmin, I-"
"Babe! Look what I found" my words got cut off by the familiar, cruel pitch of her.
She, who was everything I wasn't and had the one man I yearned for.
"Four. Five. Time's up."
I couldn't process what Seokmin had just said, all I knew was my vision was blurring. From tears maybe, or perhaps exhaustion. I didn't realise I was crying until I saw students around me looking concerned.
I finally looked up.
Lee Seokmin was gone. And he'd taken my heart along.
