In which Vance is an out of place person, like usual. He gets held back twice, and when he decides to tell bruce he likes him at the beginning of his eleventh grade year, things get a little off track. (vance began liking bruce during their ninth grade year) this is technically completed, but it is an abrupt ending as i lost all motivation to continue writing this story 🙃 this is very loosely based off the song "Vampire Empire" by Big Thief. I just got the title from it + and eensy weensy bit based. yardy hardy
