It's been three years since Clarke woke up without Lexa next to her, three years during which, except for some panels or interviews they had to do together, the two actresses have never talked to each other. Three years during which Clarke has gained no answer and Lexa has never stopped avoiding questions about her behavior. However, one can't simply escape their own fate.

The day that Lexa met Clarke, she found out about her two rules. The first, was to never fall in love. The second, was to never let anyone fall in love with her. But as it turns out, rules are broken everyday and they both end up falling head over heels in love with each other. The reason Clarke had those rules is a secret, until one day she can't hide it anymore, and after some very big events, decides to leave Lexa. She thinks it's what is best for Lexa, so she leaves without so much as a word of where she is going. Lexa searches for Clarke for three years. She is a writer and decides to tell their story, in hopes that Clarke will read it and come back to her, or at least let her know she is ok. What happens when they come face to face again, and will hearing their story told from Lexa's side help Clarke realize they can be together and happy. Can Lexa convince Clarke that she wants to be with her no matter what, and that together they can make it work?

This is a Clexa story about lexa following Clarke and protecting her without her knowing who she is. Imagine how shocked Clarke is when she finally meets with the commander to try and stop a war and she sees the girl that has been secretly helping her every day since she got to the ground. The girl that is the reason she is alive. The girl she denies she has fallen for and this mystery girl pretends to not know her. This story follows pretty closely to the first seasons with a few twists. I took a writing class this last semester and it changed my whole style of writing so I decided to do a rewrite for this story with some plot changes as well.
