After trying to help her overcome some sort of brainwashing, Optimus realizes that the truth is more complicated than it seems. As the two of them work together, they both face their weaknesses and the many trials thrown at them by an interdimensional threat and some domestic ones. Optimus has a harsh life as the bearer of the matrix and Temptest struggles to be the symbol of freedom she once was. Alongside them, one Megatron works to protect his adopted family while the other tags along, fighting and testing them in hopes he'll find what he lost in his own dimension. The bots imagine that a terrible villain is on the prowl, but struggle to figure out who. Alias is an unusual girl. She doesn't remember who she was when she was younger, her first memory was as a 6 year old, stumbling through the woods into an old abandoned barn, wounded and weak. This is where she meets the equally confused Cybertronian, who she named Nickname. As they grow up and learn about the world around them, they realize that the world is a horrible place. And while Nickname has the Decepticons chasing him, Alias has a group of human sized metal warriors that seem endless and relentless chasing her. (Later revealed by Ratchet as power hunters from early Cybertron.) Oh, and did she mention her metal wings? No, oh well... Once they meet the Autobots though, they seem to have found their peace, until they decide to help the Autobots of course. I mean, after Alias tries to kill them. Megatron isn't a very nice fellow per usual, and he had already stumbled upon the bounty hunters chasing Alias and claimed himself their lord and master.

Amelia Moore is Raf's babysitter since she was thirteen and has known Raf for three years. She is known to be cold and angry at everyone at Memorial High School but since she was babysitting Raf, he got to know the real Amelia behind her angry facade. On the very same day Amelia met the autobots her mother was kidnapped! Will Amelia find her mother with her new found friends and let people into her walled off heart?
