Sarah believes her trials in the labyrinth were a dream, but the Goblin King knows the truth, and he has until the clock strikes thirteen to convince her to make a terrifying choice. This story was inspired by art made by Monarobot on Tumblr. ~~~ After Sarah had defeated Jareth, unbeknownst that she will leave him cursed, the handsome and irresistible Goblin King was left with hideous features upon his being. Horns. Wilder teeth. Scaly skin and very bony structures. Jareth was forever stuck in his true, hidden form. In order to reverse the curse, he must find his lost queen, the one who bested him. Sarah is the only one who can cure him, but she must accept the fact that she will become Goblin Queen. Will she accept her fate? Or will Jareth be stuck a scary, hideous creature for all eternity? ~~~ I was given permission by Monarobot on Tumblr to draw and make a story with their Gobliny Jareth that they had first drawn, given the theory that the masks the other Fae wore in the ballroom scene had represented who those people truly are behind their beauty. Everything in your life was pretty much normal until the night of your birthday. There won't be any smut/lemon in this book. The stars can't do it. Not today.

The first edition was written in 2012 and, considering how popular it was and given I just finished college, thought I would give it the rewrite it so desperately needed (haha). This is my first attempt at a Labyrinth Fanfiction. Sarah is now 20 and Toby is 6. Her life has never been the same since she defeated his Labyrinth. She can't help but long to see him again but she'd never admit it out loud. What will happen when bring her back to his castle against her will? Will she see her friends again and ask for there help on escaping? Will she eventually see that everything he's done he's done for her?

On the night that Sarah is sent home from the labyrinth, a man who she knows is Jareth appears at her door. However, despite her knowing this, he seems to have forgotten it entirely. When things begin to go awry and both their lives are threatened, it is up to Sarah to not only save them, but also keep an unbelieving Jareth in check. But as they spend more time together, Sarah realizes that her greatest challenge may not be the danger, but loving a man who no longer returns her feelings.

I created this idea around a young age when I first watched the movie and I did NOT like the ending but to be fair I was young and only wanted the sexy man (and not thinking about the kid.. opps) Down the road, when I was in middle school and started getting more invested into writing.
