But circumstances led to Posiedon to go with Percy instead. So father and child went to a village. Where Percy will meet a certain loud mouthed, prank loving, whiskered blond. Demigods having a holiday? Pfft, who ever came up with that idea? Twelve days out from Christmas, a mysterious instigator starts sending cryptic messages to our young heroes. What in Hades is going on? So much for Christmas ...

Camp half-blood is in chaos. Camp Jupiter just can't think straight anymore. Why? Because the only demigod son of Hades, Nico Di Angelo, is missing. No one knows where he went, why or how but they are determined to find him. The only person who seems to have an idea of his whereabouts is Hades but he has locked up the underworld and refuses to tell our heroes anything. Nico's sister Hazel is frantic and his boyfriend Will is worried out of his mind. But Hades can't throw the rest of the gang into this mess. No, it would be better if his son Nico does this on his own.

Percy's life is divided to two parts. His life as a demigod and as a normal mortal highschooler. Everything was fine, until some of his hated people at his mortal life became a part of his demigod life as well. Now, Percy will have to deal with the foursome's presence at camp, and will the bullies' opinion of him somehow change?
