The screech of tires. The blinding light. Silence. Abhimanyu opened his eyes, but the world was different. The hospital walls surrounded him, sterile and calm, as if time itself had bent backward. His chest rose and fell with a strange clarity-he was alive, but not the same man. Inside his mind, a voice spoke with unshakable conviction: "Fate has given me another chance. I will not walk into the same storm again. Akshara brought love, but also endless pain. Aarohi brings stability, loyalty, and peace. This time, I will choose her. This time, I will protect my family. This time, I will protect myself." please don't copy my story... copyright ©️ @ yetireddy

The OG of BRIDE SERIES ARRANGED MARRIAGE "You will marry him, Dithya. No more discussion. I just want to get rid of you from here. Tomorrow, the marriage will happen. Be ready... or else you know what I'll do." My stepmother's voice was cold as she pushed me down to the floor. "Mam, please... don't do this to me. I'll do whatever you say, but not this. Please, Mam... I beg you." I clutched at her legs desperately, tears blurring my vision. But she shook me off with disgust and walked away, leaving me crumpled on the ground. "Why, Amma? Why did you leave me with these people?" I whispered into the darkness, hugging myself. "Take me with you, Amma. I can't live like this anymore..." --- "Dithya..." An old man in his eighties sat in a grand ancestral house, holding a worn photograph of a teenage girl. A single tear slid down his wrinkled cheek as he traced her face with trembling fingers. "You are the goddess of this house. I will bring you here... I will make you my Abhi's wife." His voice broke, but determination shone in his eyes. --- "Marriage? Now?" Abhimanyu's voice thundered in the hall. "I will not marry anyone." His eyes were sharp, his jaw clenched as he glared at his parents. --- Diya (Dithya) - shy, introverted, and afraid to talk to new people. She secretly dreams of her prince charming, someone who will love her unconditionally and protect her fragile heart. Abhimanyu - angry, arrogant, quick to lose his temper. "Ayaan... I love you." The words hung in the air between us. Loud. Heavy. Unapologetic. His body stiffened. "I don't know when it started," I continued, the tears now falling freely again, "maybe it was the night you brought me that stupid cupcake with a candle on it because no one else remembered my birthday. Or when you carried me across that muddy road so my heels wouldn't get ruined." I laughed softly through the tears. "Maybe it was when you fought that guy in college who called me names... even though you got suspended for it." "I kept convincing myself it was just friendship." He turned slightly, his jaw tightening even more. I took a deep breath, stepping a little closer. "But the truth is - it's always been you, Ayaan. Every time. Every moment. Every goddamn day." Silence. I looked into his eyes - finally - and whispered, "Say something. Please." Just then, the airport speakers crackled to life. "Passengers of flight AI-243 to Delhi, please proceed to Gate 7. The boarding gate will close shortly." The words echoed in the space between us - loud, final, cruel. I felt a sudden chill run through me. My fingers were still pressed against his chest, feeling the rapid thump of his heartbeat. But Ayaan slowly reached up and gently removed my hand - one finger at a time - like tearing away the only thing holding him back. "You don't understand, Sanya," he said, his voice low but firm. "Your engagement is already fixed." His words sliced through the air like a blade. I looked at him, my vision blurred from the tears. "I don't care about the engagement," I said desperately. "I'll talk to Dad, to everyone. I'll fix it - I just need to know... do you feel the same?" My voice cracked on the last word. He looked at me. For a second, something flickered in his eyes. But it was gone as quickly as it came. He didn't answer. Instead, he stepped back. "I'm getting late," he said quietly, without meeting my eyes. He walked away....
