A regular orange inkling, James Splatford, relocates from his hometown of Splatsbury to the illustrious Inkopolis in order to become the most well-known Turf War athlete worldwide. His childhood dream was to achieve this. Together with three of his closest friends, he relocates to Inkopolis. After his first-ever Turf War battle, his entire life turns around. James was unaware that conditions in Inkopolis were not ideal. Callie, a well-known pop star from the Squid Sisters, has vanished. Who could be able to help her, and what would they have to do? James meets someone after his first Turf War battle who just could alter his life. (All characters in this story belong to Nintendo, except for the ones I made up. Extinction....is the last thing I remember. The Internet, the A.I.'s have become self aware and war raged on for almost a decade, the battle of Man and Machine. We were supposed to win the war, but we were led to a trap that ended our forces leaving the rest of humanity defenseless. I was a soldier meant to lead that battalion but they decided to let another soldier to lead that battalion leading to their downfall........our downfall. I was supposed to be the one that would have ended it all, ending the conflict, the pain, the agony, and suffering. Instead I am put inside a Cryogenic Vessel preserving my body for twelve millennia. After that, I am once again awakened in a new world, without any Self-aware A.I.'s. A new world where humans are now gone...and I am the only one left. Warning: There will be Lemons.
