This is a dogday x catnap story, where dogday falls in love with Catnap first and is trying his best to confess but sucks at it badly as to while catnap is just confused of how dogday acting so strange THIS IS AN ONGOING BOOK I AM JUST NOW BECOMING SLOW WITH CHAPTERS A BIT

Dogday, and the other critters, however, disagree with his beliefs. The cat punished them according. Dogday in particular took the brunt of said punishment, as Catnap nearly manages to kill him. Until something mysterious happens once Catnap uses his signature poppy gas. He finds himself falling unconcious to the poppy gas himself, as Dogday wakes up in a new, yet familiar world.

One day, a meteor shower falls, so they all plan a vacation. On that day, they would start to have desires to get even closer. But they would not get together that easily. Since they both don't treat their love the same. Their friends help them overcome their fears and give them courage and bravery to tell each-other how they really feel. "Will we remain best friends for 'good,' or will I get what I truly want?" They asked themselves this ever since. LATEST UPDATE (7/1/2024): EPILOGUE AND CLOSING HAS BEEN PUBLISHED. (NEW DESCRIPTION) CatNap is a shy yet inside cat, he never usually tells anyone else. Anything. Ever since 'The Hour of Joy' and Player moving in. Which really he never understood how- this place has been less gloomy when he came here.. but besides that, DogDay, One of the smiling critters, suddenly started talking with him. Giving him comfort... He doesn't know what this feeling is.. Why is he suddenly being nice and kind to him then the rest of the smiling critters. Can this be ever explained? ....pls. "Please, keep your blood. I don't want it spilled at all, let alone in my name." In which DogDay survives and there's Sad Boi Hour with CatNap. This causes some extra hijinks. The Player Character is basically Link but he's named Yin (get it, bc y/n = Yin? yeah? yeah) Questionable writing quality ahead. All relationships are platonic; you shippers will starve. But if you like hurt-comfort, I got that in spades. Also I'm taking suggestions for fluff scenes. Anyway, enjoy. (cover by me)

Catnap was especially upset. Many, many years later, (Y/N) returns and runs into an old friend.

The smiling critters are living their best lives together going on adventures, spending time together mean while dogday and catnap are off making out in a field somewhere and doing who knows what else. They are all enjoying themselves but there seems to be something going on behind the scenes
