On the weekend of her beachside small town wedding, Aunt Amy admits to Lucy that she is terminally ill and only has one regret in life: that she didn't see her beloved niece get married or at least get engaged. Lucy reels after someone close to her is hurt, and Tim struggles with how to support her in the aftermath. They both grapple with the realization that their relationship may be changing. Canon compliant through Season 3.

In this story Lucy had a kid from when she was nineteen, and has an abusive boyfriend. She struggles a lot with leaving. "Tim: Lucy! Lucy: why do you even care?!? I'm just some rookie who went through some things! Tim: very bad things, that you haven't had therapy for! Lucy: so you think I'm not stable or something? Tim: that is not what I said! Just try and listen to me Lucy: i have been trying, but everything you say just makes it worse! Tim: I'm sorry Lucy, I'm trying! Lucy: trying for what?!? Why do you care so much about what I do?!?
