Rody goes out to a bar in his part of the town one night and sees a very beautiful yet mysterious "lady" in a red dress and is absolutely mesmerized, but is that lady really, a lady?

(Rody x Vincent) - Dead plate fanfiction - Rody has a chance to get over Manon after a event that happens, he takes it gladly. Yet soon his heart calls out for someone else, more specifically, Vincent. Vincent is a renowned chef who had a bad experience with love last year. When Rody starts to pursue him, Vincent is not ready. In his mind he doesn't wanna get hurt again. In Rody's mind, he loves Vincent with his whole heart, he just has to prove it. (This is my version of Dead Plate without Vincent having cannibalistic qualities). (Cover art is not mine, I have just edited it.)

It's way too difficult for Rody to juggle his college life with a barely minimum wage job at a cafe near his college campus and the crazy emotional chaos rollercoaster that Rody gets pummeled on with falling in love with people that you DEFINITELY should NOT fall in love with; Like the corpse bride-looking guy that takes the same train as him every morning! His 'platonic' love being shown with a small grin and eyes shining through the warm light as he holds out the coffee and donut for Rody to have a small, comforting space just for the both of them. Oh! and with a stupidly dumb nerd of a best friend that told Rody herself that she can see the tension between them that could be cut through with a chainsaw.

Vincent has always been a man of faith. But after several threats began to grow more violent did he become desperate. When a summoning goes wrong he ends up in an interesting endeavor with a demon.

But Manon once described him as the type to do what's necessary if push comes to shove, especially when it means protecting what's important to him. And as he stood there in shock, pupils dilating as he stared at the droplet of blood trickling down Vince's forehead, and the angry man still continuing with his tirade, uncaring of the way Vince's grimaces in pain. Rody could only tilt his head like a robot and stare at the man with frightening intensity, silently agreeing with Manon's words. He took a step forward and everything went red.
