SEQUEL TO "ALCHEMIST OUT OF CORONA." After joining the gang in season 2, Varian returns to Corona. The recent events in the Dark Kingdom have left him exhausted, physically and mentally. But more challenges await our favorite alchemist... Will he discover why he has a strange connection to the Moon Stone? Can he manage to get through to Cass, or will his efforts only attract unwanted attention from an ancient evil that seems to have been pulling the strings all along? Similar to the first book, this one basically reads as a novelization of the third season, while adding my own changes and including Varian in every episode.

Varian, a young boy who has been forgiven for his past misjudgments, has still not gotten over the fact that one of his best friends had sent him away when he needed her most. Though his friend, Rapunzel has forgiven him and forgotten about his past, Varian hasn't forgotten. He is willing to remake the past, but better. This is a Moonstone Varian AU! I don't own any characters in this except for the occasional OC or two. I only own the plot! Also, in this AU, Cassandra doesn't want to seek revenge / doesn't turn evil at all. This is also in the prospective of Varian though it'll be in third person. At some points I will change the POV a couple of times, but I'll only do that at a start of a new chapter. This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way.
