Keith has kept a secret from his friends ever since he joined Voltron, hesitating to leave. But that hesitation is demolished when he and Lance bond and have an "accident" over a game of truth or dare. He runs away after becoming too overwhelmed by keeping two major secrets, but what happens when the group finds him?

Half Galra, Keith Kogane's biggest secret, Keith and Lance accidentally do something that they cannot remember. But then when a mission goes wrong, the most universal space bias puts Keith and an unborn baby through danger and abuse. I am sorry but there isn't much Klance in the first few chapters. If you're looking for angst, and want to internally rage over the Galra bias, with some Klance involved, this book should be just for you!

In Galra terms, 'mating' means marriage though the process of it is close to exactly what you would expect from the word, though it is a long process that contains several steps including leaving permanent scars on both partner's bodies to tell others that they are already taken. Once the process is completed the two partners will be each others mates, as one would expect, how is this relevant to team Voltron? Let's just say a certain red Paladin happens to be Zarkon and Haggar's grandson and he and a certain green Paladin had acted upon the mating process permanently claiming each other, however when the rest of the team finds out that one of their team members is the enemy's species, he is exiled from the team, but what happens when Pidge discovers that she is pregnant with Keith's baby?
