Daemon and Rhaenyra's night at the pleasure house had consequences. Viserys disinherits Rhaenyra when she refuses to marry Laenor and gives Daemon an ultimatum. Rhaenyra is heartbroken to discover her uncle chose his place in the line of succession over her and their daughter. She leaves for Essos and establishes an empire while raising her daughter. Visenya Targaryen grows up away from Westeros but is very aware of her heritage and who she is. When things go badly she and her mother return to Westeros where she meets her uncle Aemond. Like mother, like daughter, but unlike Rhaenyra Visenya has no intention of losing the man she loves or her inheritance. This story will not follow the TV show or the book timeline. I saw the trailer for House of the Dragon season 2 and it just broke my heart how devastated Rhaenyra look. Since I know a lot of what will happen because I read the books. I decided I wanted to write them a happy ending. 😊 This is part of the Dragon's Heir universe. The Gods realize that the Targaryens are about to kill each other, especially after Lucerys's death. They have seen the way Rhaenyra's heart has harden and they want to save them from making more mistakes. The Gods decide to sent Daemon, Rhaenyra and Aemond to another world so they can see there is another path that can be followed. One that does not have to end in death and destruction. All three of them are sent to meet the Dragon's Heir and a different way of life.

Deirys Targaryen was born during a chaotic night and her life continued that path. She was born the eleventh daughter of Daemon and Rhaenyra Targaryen, but she knew from an early age that she would forge her own path with fire and blood.
