An Appledash fic, designed in a world where Equestria is completely ordinary. Well, almost. Rainbow is an abuse survivor. Applejack has stewed quietly with the death of her family for years. Neither of them have anything to do with the Mane 6. But what will draw them together, after everything else in life has gone so horribly, disgustingly wrong?

As they all enter seinior year, The groul. of friends relize something. They will most likely be attending different Colleges after they graduate from Canterlot High. This sudden realization especially took a toll on Applejack. She couldn't go to College even if she wanted to. Her family buisness was failing and this caused her to not have the time or money to even consider What it would be like after high-school. Especially when her mind was wondering on other things. She has had a crush on one of her best friends- Rainbowdash. She does not know how to come out to rainbow about her feelings. She does not know if she even wants to! She also does not know how to come out as a Lesbian to the rest to her family.

At 16, Applejack takes independent learning classes instead of attending high school like other teens her age. Her life is already mapped out; she'll get a diploma, care for her little sister and aging grandma, and spend the rest of her days on Sweet Apple Acres. That is, until Principal Celestia invites her to Canterlot High School. Now faced with a mismatched group of girls all weighed by their own interpersonal drama, and a growing confusion surrounding her future(and sexuality), Applejack counts on good luck to get her through this mess.
