A prophecy made to be broken. An otherworlder in a story he shouldn't be part of. What happens when the one who knows tries to change things ? And what happens when those very things go wrong ? Ashley is just a guy, a person of normal constitution that lives an ordinary life. There is nothing special about him, except for that part where he got teleported into a different world. But, somehow, it's a place that is familiar to his mind. He wakes up in Pyrrhia, a world he knows from childhood, but has no idea how this happened. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter, this place isn't very welcoming when it comes to the two legged creatures we know as scavengers, and he soon finds himself into a very peculiar situation. However, Ashley has been granted the Ability to speak with dragons at the same time he has been sent here, maybe he will be able to use this ability to make some friends, or, at least, survive. And who knows, maybe he will be able to have a meaningful impact in this new world.

The humans of Pyrrhia have been barely hanging on in their fight for survival for millennia. They have lived for generations under the talons of dragons, and are none too happy about it. A transatlantic supply convoy from late 1942 has found itself no longer in the grim waters of the North Atlantic, but in a strange new world entirely. The Allies will have to learn to navigate this strange new world. They must learn the strange ways of a strange people. As well as about a completely new- and uncanny- race of beings. The humans will have to learn the ways of an alien industry, technology, and way-of-life. The SeaWings are losing in the War of SandWing Succession. They're backed into a corner, and are potentially open to options normally considered unthinkable...

A Wings of Fire (WoF) Fanfiction I don't actually know if there will be a book II, I'm just calling this number one in case there is. Also, be aware that this may contain strong language. InterCons was an unusual company on Earth. It's even more unusual in a world inhabited by dragons, especially if you are one of those dragons. InterCons management, however, would like to make it more normal in their new world--at least once they know where that is--but they won't do so by changing InterCons.
