Meredith Grey is a new Elementary teacher who just moved to Seattle, she works at Seattle Grace Elementary. Derek is a Neurosurgeon and works at Seattle Grace Memorial Hospital. Derek's a father of two kids, one boy, and one girl. his son is eleven years old and his youngest daughter is six. Meredith is Derek's daughter's teacher but she also helps the older kids who are having trouble with school work more than others because the younger ones get out of school earlier then the others.
