She was Ravenclaw's golden girl. He was the Dark Lord's son. In the winter of their sixth year, Delilah Vale and Mattheo Riddle find themselves entangled in a secret plan - one that could unravel the war from within. Forced into an uneasy alliance, they agree to betray the bloodlines that raised them, and each other, in order to bring Voldemort to his knees. As snow falls softly over the castle grounds, Hogwarts becomes a quiet battlefield of glances, lies, and burning letters. Behind every whispered spell and shadowed corridor, they are watched - by enemies, by fate, and by the ghosts of who they used to be. But in the space between love and treason, something softer begins to bloom. Something neither of them expected. And as the war draws closer, so does the final choice: loyalty or love, legacy or freedom. Because every swan sings once. And this is theirs. A slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers tale of forbidden magic, fractured bloodlines, and the kind of love that could bring an empire to its knees. Disclaimer: I do not own any characters apart from Delilah Vale, Evangeline Vale, Alaric Vale, Seraphine Montrose and Claribel Fairchild.

Nova Lupin, despite her warm, sunshine-like smile and golden hearted nature, has a hard time with control-whether it be the changing colours of her eyes or the burning emotion inside of her trying to claw its way out. When her father gets a job at the most prestigious wizarding school in the world, Nova joins him (despite having been homeschooled all her life) because, wherever Remus goes, Nova goes. They are a packaged deal, never without the other and although Remus likes to keep Nova close-especially due to his tragic past, and the ghosts that follow. He also wants to allow her to grow in her own way, and where better to do that than the very place he did that himself, Hogwarts. Nova is quickly sorted into Hufflepuff, starting later than most in her fourth year but she settles in well, clicking straight away with the likes of Harry Potter, Cedric Diggory and Magnolia Shore-her over enthusiastic quidditch obsessed dorm mate who's irredeemable in love with Ravenclaw's brightest and sharpest student by all means, Regina Lovegood. As Nova navigates her way around magic, bubbling friendships and trying to keep her secrets hidden, someone else starts to catch her eye. A mysterious, slightly mischievous boy from Slytherin, with a sharp tongue and unforgiving stare. Mattheo Riddle tries to keep to himself, being the son of two of the most infamous wizards comes with a bit of a reputation. It doesn't matter to anyone else that he'd never even met his parents and was brought up alongside his cousin Draco Malfoy. In everyone's eyes, Mattheo is destined to become just like his father, everyone's eyes, but Nova's. She can see something in the boy that he can't even see himself. - So this fic while centering around the golden trio era-and snippets of the Slytherin boys with my own twist on them ofc-is just as much a Marauders fic too. ✨

── .✦ 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 | ❝If love is an ocean, then he is the current beneath my feet, and I am the lighthouse waiting for him through every dark night.❞ 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 mattheo riddle falls for the girl who swore she would never let him have her ...𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 ⤷ ❝I swear it on my immortal soul. ⟡ ⟡ If he wants someone... he can take me. But he doesn't get you. Never you.❞ Isabella Mulciber always knew where she stood in life. As daughter to a convicted Death Eater, students in Hogwarts always had opinions on her life, and who would grow up to be. She carries herself with effortless confidence, a hidden spark for chaos and recklessness, and the inconvenient habit of being willing to risk everything for the people she loves. Mattheo Riddle, the infamous son of Voldemort. Life at Hogwarts for him could only be described in one word: inconsistent. Chaos seemed to follow him and his friends through their years at Hogwarts, judgment lingered each time he entered a room, and expectations had been placed on him since the day he'd been born. On the outside, he seems like a typical 'bad-boy' who reshaped himself to align with the stereotypes everyone created for him. Spoiler alert... he isn't. Their friendship had always been complicated. Years one through four were childish: served detentions, pranks, friendship complications. Though one thing had always been clear: Isabella and Mattheo would always harbour trust and loyalty to each other. However, all they shared ceased to exist during a reckless night in fourth year, which forever changed everything. Now in fifth year, darkness is brewing behind walls, friendships are tested, and a girl who swore she would never allow him again, found herself doing just that. 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐨 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐦 𝐨𝐜 Fifth year builds them. Sixth year destroys them. Seventh year pushes them to a point of no return.
