Maddie isn't ready to give up hope! Her biggest challenge comes when 22 baby tadpoles are given mind powers thanks to the dangerous brain dots. An new villain, the Fair Fairy, an host of her own show that got fired, uses the tadpoles for her evil plan to destroy the city in an effort to make things fair. Maddie and Lil' Petey must help Dog Man and their pals stop the Fair Fairy and the tadpoles, especially Grampa, who escapes jail and takes Petey's place. In order to save the world, the heroes must gain the help of Flippy the bionic fish, Maddie's grandmother, Stellaluna, and a new friend.

Combine that with the pesky reminder of her misfortune, which is her daughter, and a dog-headed cop constantly on her tail and you've got one big mess to deal with.
