Lauren Woods is an aspiring fashion designer, model and photographer, who makes all of her own clothes and has been a trendsetter on the scene of 60s fashion. When her new career crosses paths with a rock band in need of a little color, her entire world turns upside down. Straight out of a first class ticket through the heart of Beatlemania, it is 1966 and George Harrison is questioning his place on not only the earth itself but within a band of his best mates, who seem more like business partners these days. Will he find the answers that he's looking for? This is a work of fiction loosely based on what was going on in the lives of the Beatles in the 1960s nothing here is to be taken as fact. George ran a hand through his hair in distress as she walked away from him, her head held high. "What do I have to do to make you admit you love me?" George's voice cracked as he called out to her. Samantha stopped in her tracks and froze for a moment. Then, she turned on her heel. Her face was set in a hard scowl. Her anger at him had only grown from his sudden and unexpected comment. "Is that what you want me to say? You want me to admit it?" "For Christ's sake yes!" George exclaimed. "Fine!" She threw her hands up into the air in exasperation. "You win, George!" Samantha laughed incredulously. "I've always loved you-you -you goddamn idiot." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Samantha Clarke moved from America to Liverpool in 1956 at fourteen years old and met four lads who were destined to become one of the most famous bands in history. George Harrison bumped into his friend Paul and a random redhead girl on his walk home from school on a cloudy day in 1957. For both of them, there was a long and winding road ahead. "Hey! That's a nice jacket you got on little lady..." A familiar Scouse accent shouted. "Thanks my best friend gave it to me..." George chuckled, wrapping his arm around my shoulders, "well between you and me..." he began to whisper leaning in closer to my ear. "Your best friend must really care about you."

A/N: when I started this book I didn't really know what I was doing but I feel it's got better in the later chapters, please stick with it, it will get better and there are already plenty of ideas for a second book! Liverpool, November 9th 1961 Walking through the streets of Liverpool in search of a record shop where their supposed "new manager" has a proposition for them, A young George Harrison gets hungry and decides to take a break from walking.....a short break that just might change his life. This is my first ever attempt of writing a story so I hope you all enjoy it, I'm not sure how far I'm going to go with this one, whether or not it'll be very long but I enjoyed writing this first part so we'll see where it goes ☺️

When, in autumn 1963 the Beatles move down to London to a flat on Green Street, they move across the hall from 18-year-old Charlotte O'Reilly, a girl born and bred in the upper class of Belgravia. Charlotte catches the eye of the quiet Beatle and the two begin a close friendship, dying to become more. But what will happen to the two of them when Beatlemania kicks off? Will they make it work or is the public eye to much for the young couple? And what happens when Charlotte's privileged upbringing clashes with the working class hero George is? Updated every Tuesday. I try to keep this story as historically accurate as possible. May contain strong language and mentions of graphic scenes. Read it at your own risk.
