Felix tilted his head towards the pink hues of the sky, dull stars against the maroon clouds. Expression thoughtful and gentle.
"Well, is he cold and distant?"
Chan froze but Felix continued.
"And does He wear blue? does he have purple hair?"
Felix smiled to himself.
"You stopped the God of Water in the Confluence Hall again, didn't you?"
Chan groaned, blue water lilies blooming all around his pale white hair, eyes shining bright green like the ocean, his flowers flooding the garden. He lifted his head just enough to glare up at him. "You knew I liked water? Minho?"
Felix shrugged lightly with a huff. "You've been blooming sea lilies in my garden whenever you talk about him. Only one god makes you do that out of all of us."
Chan dropped his head back down with a distressed noise. "I didn't even tell you!"
"You didn't have to." Felix's voice softened slightly. "You love very loudly for a nature god, Even when you're trying not to. You're gentle like the wind on a calm day, and warm like the trees that sway with clouds."
Something painful curled in Chan's chest.
"Water belongs with fire, not with me."
Felix smiled fondly.
"If water truly belonged to fire," He murmured, "Nothing green would ever survive it."
