"Throw away your heart. We don't need that here."- Danneggiare Clan.
If a word demon can be a description of someone, then it surely fits with Exodus Danneggiare. In fact, being with his life is surely a taste of hell. His red hair resonates with the flames in which his victims were burned, as his bloody hands will always have the weight of those he killed ruthlessly. That's what everyone thought, and so does his next victim: Maevi.
But if that's really the case, then why did his sinful lips spoke so gently of her name as he held her captive in his den? Why does the chains in Maevi's neck doesn't seem to be the reason why she wanted to stay either, but because of the glimpse of heaven in Exodus' touches? She knew he's a devil in hot man's clothing, but why couldn't she stop herself from catching feelings?
Feelings of disgust and pity, that's it.
Because shame on him, Maevi wasn't captured to create another foolish love story, she was purposely there to be the end of him.
In the name of desires, affliction and ideologies, this is what happens when a devil meets its match.
