This story takes place 5 years after the Master's 8 tournament, and Ash and Serena are both about 18. This story will include elements form all of Journeys, and a few aspects from the Scarlet and Violet games. This is a fic I wrote years ago, and I almost abandoned it after my writing skills and taste evolved, but I decided to complete it, edit it, and publish it. Whatever lies ahead, they don't know, but they will face it together. This is a sequel to my Our Promise one-shot (which you can read if you'd like for some extra exposition but it's not required). I kept looking over it and I saw more potential in it, but instead of going back to that story, I decided to keep it a one-shot and make the sequel a multi-chapter story. I don't know how many chapters I'll write, but I'll try to make it long enough to be considered a good read.
