A gothic story set in Castle Dimitrescu about a young girl who travels with a seamstress to a remote castle for work. What starts as a simple stay turns tense and overwhelming as the castle proves to be huge, eerie, and full of things no one talks about. The girl struggles with fear and feeling out of place, and sometimes slips into younger, regressed states when things become too much for her. She's not really understood by anyone there at first. Lady Dimitrescu, the castle's strict and intimidating owner, isn't the type to care for guests-but she notices more than she lets on. Over time, things slowly shift as the castle stops feeling quite as cold, and something like reluctant protection starts to form.

It was a miracle Ivelisse (Ivy) Williams hadn't been expelled, in fact, she would argue it was a miracle she had even made it this far. Running on a diet that seemed to solely consist of monster and cigarettes, if sarcasm was an Olympic sport...Ivy wouldn't require an education at all. Vivian L'monage had no interest in being a teacher. She had a family empire to run, and had barely tolerated being a university professor as it was. She had taken the open position of Literature professor at Oakwood High as a favour she owed to the headmistress, an old acquaintance from another time, and planned to be out the minute the school found someone else for the position. Finally in her last year of school... Ivy Williams would rather die than be controlled. Vivienne L'monage, determined to create a class of elite academics, refuses accept anything less than complete obedience.

The Final Act is a dark psychological crime novel about a girl who is stolen, and refuses to be softened by it. Ary was never meant to be anyone's baby. She grew up feral around the edges, raised on neglect, addiction, and instability, learning early that love was temporary and survival was loud. She drank, smoked, disappeared for days at a time, and answered to no one because no one had ever stayed long enough to matter... Until she's taken. Kidnapped, Trafficked, and sold, not to freaks or perverts, but to them. Apollo and Chiara Mancini: a powerful Italian mafia couple married for over twenty years, bound by loyalty, blood, and loss. They had four beautiful little boys, all of which were nearly grown and out of the nest.... But something was missing. And after decades of miscarriages and buried grief, they acquire what the world denied them of: a daughter. What they get instead is a storm. Ary is sharp-mouthed, volatile, and openly defiant. She doesn't want their rules, their protection, or their version of care. She doesn't want a "mommy" or a "daddy." And she sure as hell doesn't want to be molded into the obedient little girl Chiara once dreamed of. But the Mancinis don't give choices...they give expectations. Now trapped in a gilded cage of discipline, surveillance, and forced affection, Ary must decide whether she'll bend to the life being imposed on her... or resist it and endure the consequences. In a world where love and punishment blur, The Final Act asks a brutal question: What happens when a girl who refuses to be owned is claimed anyway?

'Solitude' Philosopher Philip Koch defined it as "A stretch of experience disengaged from other people in perception, thought, emotion, and action" Solitude is an experience that can exist regardless of physical location, defined by the "absence" of other people, internally otherlessness, a spiritual/philosophical concept regarding the dissolution of self and a literary/existential term for extreme isolation. At forty-five, Professor Loredana Dove has built her life on control. Keeping her colleagues at arm's length and her students at a distance. At home, her marriage to an absent, quarrelsome wife is crumbling, leaving her to raise their five year old daughter in quiet isolation. She has convinced herself she needs nothing more until Romina Maple crashes into her classroom. Nineteen smart, and reckless, Romina is the youngest in her year. To her classmates she's the loud, infuriating party girl; to herself, she's struggling with mental health, taking care of her three year old brother and the only responsible adult in a house run by aging grandparents, her defiance masks hunger, her insolence disguises fear. Their lives should never touch. Yet hunger recognizes hunger. What begins as irritation morphs into fascination, into a closeness neither woman knows how to resist. Boundaries blur. Rules splinter. And both must face the truth: some desires do not starve quietly, and some silences can undo a lifetime of control. Our Shared Solitude is a story of two women who should have walked away yet found themselves consumed by the one thing they were never meant to want.

'I always thought that what you give, you get. That somehow if I gave so much to the world, helping those who were in need, those who were having a bad day or those in a tough situation that appreciation and help might just come back to me. My whole life has been give, give, give. Now I'm starting to think I'll never get.' In a world where all is meant to be
