Basil, a sixteen year old girl who was dumped with her grandparents after her birth, lives the normal life of a small town girl. That is, until her seventeenth birthday. Basil's mother shows up unexpectedly, proclaiming things that Basil can't even begin to understand, except that she is special. Very special. She learns about a man named Chronus, the God of Time, and that she and only she can destroy him. She also learns that she has the ability to control time. However, they soon learn that things are much more serious than they originally thought they were. It's said that time heals all wounds, but what happens when time is just a mere part of your existence.

Tuli, the 15 year old orphan, has just moved in with a new family and is keen to have a look around the neighbourhood. She discovers an old iron gate on her way, with a picturesque garden behind it. When curiosity takes over, Tuli climbs the gate and goes inside, finding that the garden seems strangely familiar. She sees something else that sends sparks flying in her memory; an old tyre swing hanging from a tree, but she doesn't know why until she sits on it and she is flooded with memories and she is dragged into the crazy world of fantasy. She doesn't know who to trust, or what is real. She learns how to expect the unexpected. So much for being a normal teenage girl...

Hailey's life has been pretty normal and trouble free so far. If you categorise growing up with your all-male neighbours trouble free... After coming back from Australia to the US of A she comes back to more than just her home. She comes back to find that the McLane boys have know grown up into a family of 9 boys ranging from super hot to just plain adorable. I got the main idea for my story from the book "Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan boys" and I also put in a few of my own experiences in too!
