A prophecy misread could have been... As it is always the case, a prophecy misread leads to years of suffering or war, most of time both. Such is the case of the Great Luna of Goryeo, and this is his story.

"It was never meant to last," Seokjin said quietly, like he was reminding himself more than anyone else. Jungkook nodded once. Slow. Controlled. As if he were agreeing to something that had always been true. "Right," he said. "A contract." He looked at Seokjin then-really looked at him-his expression carefully blank, eyes giving nothing away. "And somehow," he added softly, "we forgot to keep it just that." They'd been bound by decisions made long before either of them could refuse--called obligation, but sealed by fate. A marriage neither of them wanted, until wanting became the one thing they were never supposed to have.

One night is all it takes. A celebration turns into a blank space. A body in his bed that shouldn't be there. A love that suddenly stands on fragile ground. Jungkook doesn't remember what happened. Jeon Jungkook is used to wanting and being wanted, drifting through life with reckless ease. Kim Seokjin does not drift. He arrives with intention, with silence, and with a look that promises consequence. Jungkook doesn't recognise him. Seokjin doesn't seem to care. Between attraction and hostility, memory and denial, something dangerous begins to unfold - a collision neither of them is prepared to walk away from. Jeon Jungkook's life took a new turn when a new man walked into his life on the day of his birthday. Kim Taehyung, his friend, felt an attraction towards the man who wants to ruin their life. And all that man, Kim Seokjin, wanted was to take over everything. Important notes: This isn't a fairytale. Kookjin is the driver of this fic for the plot so although it's a taejinkook fic, it's still heavily centred on Kookjin. I insist on this before you give it a try. Taejin have a lot of meaningful moments together, they go through up and downs as well. But they are not the central ship here, so up to you if you want to read it or not.
