Instead of escaping to the world of My Hero Academia, Mono is stuck in the same life. Doing the loops over and over again until one day, something different happens. Kuoh Academy seems like a regular high school; clubs, sports, pretty girls, perverted guys, that one really hot guy or girl that everyone wants or wants to be. All they see is a detached girl in a yellow raincoat going through life like she's the only one who exists. Mono and Six are friends, though six believes theyre more... Aquaintances. She doesn't like straying too far from Mono, but she won't admit that she likes being alone. After they finally parted, Mono began to miss the song of Six's music box. The sweet melody playing almost creepily while they explore. --- This fic includes implied spoilers for the game and may appear disturbing to some.

Why? Mono ripped himself up into pieces as he sat eternally in the wooden chair, surrounded by an ominous purple light. Why? Why did she do it? What did he do wrong? The same questions, over and over again, never to prevail. The same answer, every single time. Nothing. Because she wasn't here, was she?

The Maw is no place for children. It has a way of drawing creatures toward it; those who eat, those who are eaten, and everything in between. But she couldn't just leave him to die. As soon as they're out of the Pale City, she plans to run away from him. The screens have other ideas. When Six and Mono are forced to travel through a television, there's a glitch. Although separated by different signals, they're sent to the same place - the Maw, a feeding ground stranded in the ocean. Mono, thrown into seemingly-peaceful rooms, wants to find his way back to Six and escape with her. Six, lost in the darkest depths of the ship, wishes to escape by herself; seeing all others as a threat. It's not simply a fight against the outside world anymore. Without each other to lean on, with danger brewing, with darkness found inside and out...the two may not make it out alive. One thing is certain.
