Having lost thousands of soldiers there is one place where both worlds mix, called the Middle, it marks the borderline between Heaven and Hell and there is a vengeful king who rules the Middle he and his Misfits, people who are thrown off to the side because they don't fit into Heaven or Hell, are plotting the downfall of both worlds and he himself is a Misfit. Can Heaven and Hell make amends and work together? Or will they kill each other and fall?
