Series: Fault Lines Kael Rivenhart built his life on control. As a SWAT operative, he moves with precision, reads danger before it strikes, and never hesitates when it matters. It's what kept him alive through years of deep-cover military work and high-risk operations. It's also what destroyed his marriage. Two years ago, Kael made a choice that shattered the only thing in his life he couldn't afford to lose. Alina Mercer walked away without looking back, leaving behind a silence he never tried to break. He told himself it was final. He was wrong. When Kael receives a call that Alina has been rushed to the hospital, listed with him as her next of kin, the past he buried resurfaces with brutal clarity. But nothing prepares him for the truth waiting on the other side of that hospital door. A son he never knew existed. A woman still wearing his name. And a condition that proves some damage doesn't stay hidden. Forced into a life he walked away from, Kael must navigate co-parenting with a woman who no longer trusts him, while confronting the consequences of everything he broke. At the same time, a string of high-risk bank robberies begins to unravel something far more dangerous. The perpetrators move with impossible precision, always one step ahead of law enforcement. Someone is feeding them intel. And the deeper Kael digs, the clearer it becomes that the threat isn't just external. It's inside. As pressure builds on both fronts, Kael is forced to face a truth he can't outmaneuver: You can control a mission. You can control the outcome. But you can't control the damage you leave behind. And some fractures don't heal.

Emily Calloway runs the village surgery of Dr. Hartley and Dr. Hargrove with quiet, unfailing competence and asking for very little in return.'What would I do without you?' Dr. Hargrove says more than once. But when a beautiful blonde arrives at the surgery one afternoon with monogrammed luggage and every appearance of belonging at Dr. Hargrove's side, Emily discovers there are some heartbreaks no amount of discipline can keep neatly contained, and Dr. Hargrove will discover exactly what life without Emily Calloway is like. This is a vintage old school Mills & Boon-style inspired tale, but with a stronger heroine, and a little grovel thrown in.

A story about a smart woman who loves her husband, her son and her life. When she learns that her husband isn't the man she thought he was, she works on giving her son the life he deserves. It's also about a lying and cheating man, who thought he was clever enough to avoid honesty and accountability in his life. Sometimes making a mistake and then sincerely apologizing, just might just not be enough. "Mommy, why is daddy and that lady nakey hugging?" My son innocently and loudly asks, while his father seems to be trying to locate his pants. Spoiler alert, they are on the floor under my feet, by the door, not anywhere near where he and his 'nakey' friend are sprawled on the couch. The woman shrieks, Kayley and I both fumble for the light switch just as River hits the button for daddy's 'magic office windows', which are now fully visible to the entire office floor, and all 127 employees are staring at and sharing my horror as my husband and his whatever she is are naked and trying to get dressed. Well damn, happy Wednesday to me.
