The only person knowing the full extent of the abuse was Ray. Ana tries to deal with the threats the best she can, not wanting to concern Christian any more than she has too. In this story Anastasia Steele is her own woman and no matter how good looking anyone is she doesn't swoon at their feet. She has been taught looks doesn't mean they are a good person. You have to know who the person really is on the inside as well. Christian Grey has fallen prey to Elena and her BDSM lifestyle and has his own special room in his penthouse and house on the sound. He has a lot of help from Elena to find him submissive females all looking similar to his dead mother. Christian and his siblings have been adopted by the Grey couple.
