In another Goofy Universe, Max and his band (Goof Troop debuted early!) are actually really close to the Gamma Mu Mu fraternity, since they know a few guys from highschool. They're on good terms with the frat's president, but Bradley chooses to keep his distance. There are times when Max and Brad run into each other and hang out, but that's about it. Christmas is around the corner and Bradley's parents are away for their annual vacation. Too afraid to stay home alone, he makes the embarrassing decision to ask Max to stay for the holidays. - A holiday special to end 2024 Credit to the artist for the cover art !!

He finds him a job doing chores for an upperclass family, as his father feels it will "keep him out of trouble", but the trouble only begins when Max starts to take a liking to the family's oldest son, Bradley. The thought of opening up genuinely scares Bradley. Max' cheeks burned up and he felt more than a little dumb for it. But it was the truth. Bradley was pretty. Not just now but in general. Only it never really came through when he was acting like a massive bitch. But now, with Bradley looking at him without any malice in his eyes and still recovering from the previous events, Max could see. Bradley looked raw. His athlete suit dirty and torn at the sleeves, hair tussled and face bruised. His eyes tired and glassy and his cheeks pink. He looked real for once. Honest. Or: Max accidently overhears a conversation between Bradley and his father. He's never seen the boy look so small before. When things escalate, Max rushes in to help. Circumstances lead to the two becoming roommates. Max realizes that there is more to Bradley than what first meets the eye and he is determined to reveal it all. Bradley struggles to let himself open up, but bit by bit Max tears down all his defenses. He's helpless against it.
