They haven't felt the need to explore their dynamic, but a new level of closeness brings new opportunities for them to become intrigued by one another. If you've ever watched the young adult drama, All American Homecoming, this is my spin on the events that occur starting from the last 5ish minutes of Season 1, Episode 8. I still follow the outline of the show, and loosely use some of the verbiage from the show as well, but I explore more of the feelings/emotions involved (romantic, platonic, and familial). Marcus and Amara get married. That brings the BU fam back to town. The majority of the group has been in separate places for the last 4-5 years. Some are still in Atlanta though. Damon and Simone haven't seen each other in years. Their break up was amicable, but it wasn't for lack of love. Time got the best of them, but maybe now is the time to figure out if they can get that old thing back.
