All characters belong on Suzanne Collins. (Sorry for any inaccuracies, I lent my book to a friend, so I'm basing this off of memory.)

Reed Hadley would gladly spend her day holed up in her room with her dog, watching horror movies or surfing the internet on her trusty laptop. Too bad she is the daughter of one of the biggest matchmakers in the business. As soon as Reed started to develop into what scientist dubbed an adolescent, her mom has been sitting her up on dates, which seem to go wrong every time. Reed is done with these dates, and she realizes that the only way to get her mom off her back is to find a boyfriend. When Reed is partnered with bad boy Parker Hunt on a school project, they can't stand each other. However, Reed and Parker quickly realize they need each other; Reed needs Parker so that her mom will stop with the blind dates, and Parker needs Reed so his jealous ex-girlfriend will leave him alone. So, this odd pair strikes up a deal. For appearances' sake, they're an item. Behind closed doors, they may fight like children, but Reed and Parker have managed to fool the people they need to. However, can a fake relationship stay fake forever?

This all started out as a tiny joke on snapchat with one of my best friends- which took 9 straight hours to tell only part of (from around 21:30 until about 6:30am :'D ) It isn't the best, but it means a lot to me and my friend ;) It's loosely based around my real life (veeeerrry loosely), made more interesting by my daydreams ;) It is quite weird and random, but there are parts that make me laugh....don't ask where 'Emo Surname' came from, it's a looonnnggg story :'D *winks at Victoria* I do not claim to be a very good writer- this is literally all a joke (although I wish it was real *sighs*). It's told from different peoples POV (point of view) throughout the story, but I will always clearly state who's POV it is. So, without further ado, I give you 'Emo Surname- A Real Life Parody'....

This is my own story, about a girl. The plotline and characters are mine. I have just chosen to share them with you. I am aware that I overuse hyphens, and if you read this story for too long, you will be too. Sorry if any of my work offends you. I can assure you it was unintentional.

Imagine the second you're born, a consultant removes you from your mother's grasp and runs a battery of genetic and physiological tests on you. Thirty minutes later they give you a score out of one hundred which denotes your level of perfection. If your score is above eighty and you work hard to maintain that score you will have a charmed life; well fed, well-rewarded, spoiled. But fall below eighty and you're labelled Flawed, and life will not be so kind. Hannah is adopted by a Flawed family when her birth parents choose their social standing over their daughter and endures a life of struggle, hunger and service. One day Hannah is escorted to the regional government office and told that the Consultant who delivered her, who labelled her Flawed got it wrong! Now, she is being relocated back to her birth parents, to live as one of the Ninety-Five- all medically and legally judged as perfect. Entering this new life Hannah has an impossible decision to make which puts not only hers, but the lives of everyone she cares about at great risk.
