Nico is gifted Wings by Hades after a quest with Hazel and Clarisse. Solangelo ensues. The book's contents follow short to long oneshot-like short stories all in the same world. I don't write these in chronological order, I basically just play a game of 'fill the blanks'. Each part will be uploaded in the correct order in the contents list, so you don't have to jump between chapters.

This goal becomes harder than ever to achieve when he meets Nico, a charming boy who seems to show up everywhere he goes. Nico Di Angelo didn't exist. Okay, yeah, he did exist. But not really to anyone outside of his small friend group. And even then, he was a quiet kid. It was easy for him to almost disappear even when he was with friends. He kind of blended in with the shadows, with the background. Will Solace was pretty well known, however. He wasn't exactly a popular kid, per say, but he was one that everyone knew. Everyone had some sort of story about him, whether it was simply having a class with him, or having to witness him fall out of a tree. When Will is told he has to go to high school, he doesn't have much of an opinion. Go there, protect some students, hang out with people he barely knew, be over with it. Fine, whatever. Though he finds himself having to be near a Nico Di Angelo an awful lot... Nico'd rather not be near anyone, period. People were annoying, after all, and he didn't trust them much. He was only here because he didn't feel like saying no. He's forced to be near a certain Will Solace, though, and said Will Solace may just change his mind on people. After a tiring, odd quest for normalcy at a high school, Nico and Will would like nothing more to just hang out and cuddle in the Hades cabin. Instead, they find that they missed some large attack-leaving the camp in a pretty sad state, and the Infirmary packed. And Will seems to be refusing to stop working in said Infirmary. Will and Nico didn't talk often. They had that small skirmish during that one war, a small argument afterwards, and then they didn't talk to each other again, only interacting when Nico gets hurt and Will has to heal the death child. Now it's years later, Will is 19 and Nico is 18, and some sort of fate force them to interact. For the better or for the worse.
