Hiccup has been betrayed by Astrid and banished and disowned by his father Stoick the vast. Hiccup leaves and vows that he would free all the dragons and show them the way to peace with the dragons. So he starts to raid the ships that have dragons on them and frees them. This continues for a year. He makes allies and enemies. His life seems ok but when he is shot down by a berkian dragon capturing boat. His life takes an usual twist......

It's the story of a young Viking. Actually, he isn't that young anymore. He's 23 years old now. His name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. 8 years ago, he had to run away from his beloved home Berk because he became best friends with a creature that no Viking should ever become friends with: a dragon. Hiccup is a child living on berk, he is bullied abused and made a laughing stock by everyone including his father. The only person who didnt bully him was astrid but she never seemed to care either. One day he decides to leave and he vows revenge on the island and to make them his slaves. Only Astrid can stop him will she succeed or will she betray his trust? Read on to find out!

How would the story go if Hiccup had been taken by Cloudjumper instead of Valka? What if Hiccup was raised by the dragons, in the ice sanctuary, for twenty years? Until one day, he finds himself stuck on Berk. Discoveries are made, new friends are found, and Hiccup's life changes significantly. Will he go back home to the ice sanctuary and forget about Berk? Astrid Hofferson's father is abusive. After a while, her mother gets strong enough to leave him and takes Astrid with her. Months past and her mom begins to date again, only for the man to become abusive. Astrid grows up to start liking and dating bad boys and she allows them to hurt her, because that's all she's ever really seen a guy do. She attends a new school after moving into a new house with her mom and settling in. She meets a boy named Hiccup and thinks, 'Why would he be any different?'

Astrid and Hiccup are both detectives. They solve cases and bring justice to ones who need it. Hiccup has had a crush on Astrid since he started his career. Astrid on the other hand just sees him as another screw up waiting to happen. Astrid is the type of girl to solve cases on her own. That is, till now. Hiccup gets paired up with Astrid and gets a chance to show her his skills. On the first case they have together, they almost lose their killer. But then, Hiccup comes up with a plan to get their killer. Astrid thinks it's a good plan, but also a stupid one. This was the type of plan that could get you killed within an instant. This is Hiccup's chance to prove his bravery to the rest of the squad, and to his crush. The question is: Will it work or fail? Will this help catch their killer?
