Earth was always the goal for all Ark citizens. All they ever wanted was to be returned to the ground. But with no information and no answers in sight, they were doomed to die in space. Then Selena was born. It gave hope to the Chancellor and doctors that knew about her. As a result, she was kept locked away from the rest of the population. She never had friends and never exactly had a family. Even as a child she knew she was different than everyone else. 5 years before The 100 delinquents would land on earth, Selena would arrive.

When 9 days before she turned 18 some guards came and took her out of her cell. They sent her and 100 other teenagers to the ground to test if it was survivable.
