What if Lucy and Chris had broken up before she and Tim went undercover as Dim and Juicy? Based on 'The Rookie' (2018 TV Show) characters. Lucy Chen is a police officer in the NYPD. When she goes on an undercover assignment with Sergeant Tim Bradford sparks fly and everything that could go wrong, does go wrong. How will Tim and Lucy react when they realise their feelings for each other? -------------------------------------------- I missed these two so wanted to write a little fanfic beginning after the series 4 finale. The story moves kinda quickly and I added a lot of action in terms of police cases and also their relationship. But don't worry this book will have a happy ending for Chenford. It won't be smooth sailing for them though ;) hope you enjoy

When Tim Bradford meets his new training officer colleague Lucy Chen, he doesn't realize how much she will affect his life in more ways than he think is possible. A friendship with benefits between colleagues? Will it work out? What if one of them wants more. What if Tim finds out that Lucy has a connection to his Rookie? There are a lot of things they don't told each other and every secret will come out with time. I only own the two new characters Luca Davis and Olivia Johnson who are gonna be Lucy's and Tim's new Rookies in this story. I do not own The Rookie or the Characters from the show. These rights belong to ABC and The Rookie.

This story is based on the events of 5x20, where Isobel momentarily returns to carry out a UC task with Lucy's help. I have changed up the events a bit, and played on Lucy's jealousy towards Isobel, and her interactions with Tim. Lucy is not willing to be second best, and makes that abundantly clear. How will Tim deal with this? Includes some Nyla x Lucy bestie moments, as I feel we didn't get nearly enough of that in Season 5 or 6.

This is what I imagine (want) to happen straight after season 6 ended (Aaron is still in the story despite him having confirmed he won't be in season 7), focus on Chenford, slow burn. The Oscar/Jason storyline is incorporated from season 6 but not Monica. Lucy sets out to prove herself again as a good cop after her disaster with the detective's exam. Will the awkwardness between Chenford be resolved? Or will it all come to a head? Disclaimer - I have stayed true to each character's mannerisms in the show, so if you're looking for a story where Tim calls Lucy his pookie princess and is overly gushy, you won't find that here. I have remained as realistic as I can with each character's actions, behaviours and words.
