Best friends. We all have at least one good friend that qualifies for the title. Some we’ve known since forever, some are more recently made. Everybody knows the formula for a BFF. Start with a friend, add in some trust, some secrets, take out the jealousy and voila! You have yourself a best friend. But what happens when that friend changes? Do you stick with her till the end? Throughout generations, our fathers have been the rock of the family. We run to them when Mom says no, and when siblings are driving us crazy. They take us out to dinner and make us feel beautiful when we think we’re not. Dads tease us about our crushes, and threaten to bring out the shotgun we go out on dates. Then, in a final gesture of love, they walk us down the aisle and give us up to another man they trust to take care of us. And of course there are the hard times. The music that’s “too loud,” the clothes that are “unacceptable,” and the boy who needs to “get lost.” Through it all, fathers are there for us. Or at least, they usually are. There are those freak accidents that nobody saw coming, and sometimes we must say goodbye to our dad, forever. Those times can be the hardest in a girl’s life, trust me, I know. When the two of them find themselves and thier best Jake being held captive by Taylor, weird things start happening to the three of them. Jordan finds herself reading people's mind and Jane can control the motions of a spider. Jake does some pretty unusual things too. They find out that the teens here are being brainwashed and used to take over the world to start a new and more powerful race. Can the three of them, with the help of their new friends, ever get back home? Will they be able to take down those who took them captive? Can they save all the other teens in the camp? Or will life sieze to exist as we know it?
