Reece Bremer goes through life with a scowl and cold personality. Jessica Andrews goes through life with a glowing smile and positive outlook. Reece looks at life with dull, judgmental eyes that make him hate the world and the people living in it. Jessica, well... She looks at life through a camera. Literally. They're polar opposites, and that's what sparks Reece's immediate hate for Jessica the moment they meet. All he sees is a girl with the best life, put in the category of those who get everything handed to them on a silver platter. But who says Jessica's life is like that? Just like a photograph, there's more to the story than what you see. Stumbling across one of Jessica's hidden portfolio might reveal that her happiness isn't all that true. Behind that smile and each picture she takes, holds a thousand words of a very big secret - one that Reece is determined to find out. And who knows? It just might change everything between them. cover by dysanic || 2015 watty's winner for talk of the town ||

This is the almost final draft of this book, which will come out January 12, 2016! Chloe never set out to be famous, but her marriage to Hollywood A-lister, Jason Vanderholt, made her a celebrity by association. Jealous and nosy fans heckle her in public and the tabloids portray her as cold, arrogant, and unworthy of her husband. As bad as that is, it's about to get a whole lot worse. Her brother, Chris, is being paroled from prison, where he has been serving time for shooting and nearly killing Chloe when she was a child. This is not a situation that she wants splashed all over the headlines, especially because this could incite her brother to try to finish the job. When Chloe gets word of a string of crimes that might be tied to her brother, she finds she has yet another enemy: their father, Dr. Winters. He refuses to cooperate with Chloe's security team and even gives the police a hard time when they try to investigate. The one ally Chloe has in her own family is her half-sister, Beth, a public prosecutor intent on bringing Chris to justice. Her approach is so aggressive that everyone from Chloe's security specialist to the police detective insists that she is doing more harm than good. Beth assures Chloe that her way is the only way that will work, which leaves Chloe to decide whether to trust the experts, or the sister she barely knows. The wrong choice puts her very life in danger.

There's something notorious about this feeling. Something sensational. And I hate it. It hangs thick in the air, its musk clinging to my skin when I leave this room. And I'll never admit it to him, but I wouldn't leave if I couldn't take part of it with me. I'd rather wait. I'd rather have my patience run thin. Just confess. You greedy bastard.

Disclaimer: I no longer am writing this book. I started writing this over a year ago. Please, do not read if you don't like; spelling errors, grammatical errors and cringy things. I won't fix any of my errors or further edit this book, so leaving comments about them is useless. I know all about them and they embarrass me to this day. Read if you want to, but I wouldn't. - **WARNING** **VERY** **CLICHE** "You should sleep with me tonight." He said in his perverse way. I laughed but frowned. I left him by his door and started walking to my own room. "Why don't you stay?" He asked catching me off guard. He said it with such seriousness and I couldn't hear that always cold and sarcastic tone behind his voice. My eyes widened and I'm sure my cheeks were pink. I turned around to face him seeing that he didn't have a smirk on his face either. He walked closer to me. "What if I said no?" I asked quietly, curiously and nervous. He pushed me against the wall and leaned over me with his hand on my cheek. "I would kiss you until you said yes." --- Peyton was a 4.0 student. She was in the top of her class. And basically the average goodie goodie but 10 times more extreme. So when she was looking for a summer job, Mr and Mrs Jackson happily accepted her to be their sons babysitter. Well considering their son was Peyton's age it was more like "Make sure he doesn't get into any trouble or your fired." But the thing was their son was Conrad Jackson. And Conrad doesn't get into trouble he gets other people in trouble. In other words, he is trouble. But it doesn't take long for someone else to interrupt.
