Two-year-old alley cat (who is known for her nickname, Ally Cat), has had a bad past. Not to mention that she's lived in an alley for her entire life. Until two humans take her and put her in the pound. There she is forced to endure the teasing of the much older and mean cats. But with the help of her new-found "friend", Claw, she is able to escape. With the pound on her tail (literally!) Ally must journey to the far reaches of the land in order to find a new place to call home. (Sorry for the cover, I don't have many options.)
