Anya Lockhart is an amateur writer, using the hobby as an outlet to vent about her constant struggles that not a single person could even pretend to care about. By no means does she claim to be a professional, but she still hopes to publish a novel someday. The fictional characters of which she determines the lives of are her only friends; the only ones who are willing to listen to her silent cries. Anya portrays the characters as the feelings and emotions that she suppresses within herself. Trace McAllister is the main character in Anya's first ever novel. Wallowing in constant depression, Trace is forced to shoulder all of Anya's pain in the tough life that she has created for him. Miserable, misunderstood, and alone, Trace feels that he is not in control of his life. When a boy fitting the exact description of Trace transfers to Anya's class, she is convinced that he is the boy from her book. She isn't prepared for the hostile way Trace regards her, placing the blame on Anya for his terrible life. Or will Anya agree to completely abolish Trace's life? ******* WARNING: This story deals with heavy issues, such as depression and addiction. I was doing just fine my junior year of high school. I mean I did pick fights once in a while and my grades weren't the best, but I was doing okay. Xander was my best friend, actually my only friend. We didn't need anyone else, really. But then Ryker came back more badass than ever. I've hated him since we were children and apparently the feeling is mutual. We don't get along. He's cocky, arrogant, and downright mean. We were better off while he was gone. He should never have moved back. So, I stole his motorcycle. Then he told me not to fall for him. ~*~*~*~ I went over to the door and jumped back when it opened. Ryker came back in, pushing me up against one of the lockers. He locked his eyes on my lips and I gasped. He smirked. "Don't fall for me, Angel." With that, he stepped away from me and left again for good. What the hell? Did he honestly have the audacity to tell me not to fall in love with him? I clenched my fists, shoving the door open to confront the cocky jerk.

Elijah Reed is my enemy, uh I mean neighbor. He gives a whole new meaning to the term "bad boy" and I would like nothing better than for him to leave me alone. The problem is that he basically declared war on me when he moved in next door. He stole my first kiss and vowed to steal all my other first times. Elijah's older brother, Uriah, had apologized for his rude behavior. I said it was alright. I would get my revenge. At least that's what I thought. ********* That was my first kiss. And he had stolen it. "What the hell, Elijah?" Uriah growled. "You need to watch your back because I swear, I will get you back for this," I said with my hands on my hips. "Don't tell me that was your first kiss, Vic," he said. I blushed hard and stuttered, "N-No, of course not." "Liar." **********
