It was like Meredith was struck by lightning. Her nerves were on fire, she found it hard to breath, like her world was crashing down around her. Except it wasn't. This was what she wanted. Derek didn't make her feel anything, not like Addison did. And then she looked at her. She met the eyes of her boss, her attending, her ex-boyfriends ex-wife. Whatever she was didn't matter to her anymore. It was just Meredith and Addison, alone.
