Today marks the beginning of my high school career as a freshman, here at Wegner High School. My name is Darcy Wingham, an awkward red head with the nerdy characteristics. The worst part about being me is, still having braces as a freshman at this so called “fancy” school that I’m attending this fall. I walked over to my Really Close Best Friends Katelyn Reynolds and Mia Brown, once I arrived, we spoke about all the cliques here at this ridiculous school my parents are making me go to, the nerds, the jocks, the band and orchestra nerds, and the rich kids. We never fitted in those genres of people, so my trio just call ourselves the- “typical yet normal people.” My best friend are like the pretty ones not including myself, I was surprised that they actually are my best friends considering they don’t treat me like an outcast. We entered the school as some outcasts, I blame the braces because Katelyn and I are the only ones in this school (not including the nerds) that actually have to have them for three more years, lucky for Mia she got them in Fourth grade and her teeth are perfectly straight. This school is going to be a place where I actually blossom and maybe even wear makeup and get as pretty as my best friends. It’s time for me to tell the story of Myself, as Darcy Wingham at Wegner High School, the girl who had the fault in braces but actually helped me get a boyfriend and helped me to be confident in myself so here it goes…….
