Two sisters, seventeen-year-old Jasmine and twenty-three-year-old Dahlia Lennox, flee into the woods to escape a lifetime of abuse at the hands of their parents. While Jasmine struggles with the trauma through age regression, relying heavily on Dahlia for protection, Dahlia carries the heavy burden of guilt for not being able to shield her sister completely. They come upon a cabin in the woods occupied by two sisters, twins, Myrtle and Maple Mabon. Will they be the girls safe haven?

"...Is she feverish?" Harlow asked flatly. "I'm not feverish." I snapped. "You're babbling about falling out of the sky and magical doors," Harlow countered. "And your pupils are unfocused." "They are not unfocused!" Beladora stepped closer and cupped my cheeks, turning my face toward the light. "Oh, sweetheart... your eyes are a little glassy." I pulled my face back, groaning. "I'm not sick!" Harlow folder her arms. "Bel, get the thermometer." My jaw dropped. "Absolutely not." Beladora smiled warmly. Too warmly. "Absolutely yes." Harlow lifted me from the chair with one arm, like I weighed the same as a scarf and deposited me on her hip. (Picture from pinterst: @esterscanon)

Her sigh was quiet, but heavy with something like disappointment. "You're far too stubborn for your own good." Before I could respond, she bent - and without warning, her arms were around me again. "Wait-! My Lady, please!" She lifts me up. One arm beneath my knees, the other steady behind my back. "Alcina-!" I squeaked, gripping her shoulder. She looked utterly unbothered. "If you refuse to rest on your own, then I will ensure it myself." She shifted her hold on me, placing me on her hip. We were halfway up the stairs before I realised what was happening. The other maids had stopped to stare, eyes wide. I put my face in Alcina's neck to hide myself as best as I could. "Oh no, oh no." Alcina chuckled. "Perhaps next time you'll listen when I tell you to stay in bed." Alcina said faint amusement curling in her voice. No character are mine except for Ella. This is based off of Resident Evil. "Rayne..." Miranda said, head tilting in curiosity, "can Mommy see what you've made?" I hesitated, suddenly getting nervous. Then I nodded and stood aside. She leaned in slightly, her gaze moving slowly across the page. She didn't speak right away, and every second of silence made my stomach twist tighter. I waited for corrections. For critique. For neutrality. Instead, she straightened. "This," Miranda said calmly, "is excellent." I blinked. "It is?" "Yes." This is a spin-off to my first story Little Maid :) (Photo from pinterest/@emilynoellephoto)

When two seasoned FBI agents meet criminal psychology professor Rosalina Marie consulting on a high-stakes case, nothing is quite what it seems. Emily is precise, commanding, and unyielding; JJ is gentle, intuitive, and grounding. Together, they create a space where control, trust, and care intertwine-revealing the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability. For Rosalina, accustomed to managing every detail of life and thought, surrendering control is unfamiliar territory. In this controlled environment, choices are intentional, boundaries are respected, and a new kind of connection emerges-where steel meets silk, and even the strongest walls can soften.
