My potential pitch if a Smiling Critters movie (BASED OFF THE CARTOON) ever existed. I know this'll most likely never happen, this was written for entertainment purposes!

The story of Stacy meets the nightmare critters and they had her for a friend.

It's been 2 months after a corrupted gem attacked beach city. What stood out from this attack is that a gem got shattered... A Crystal Gem... A Diamond... Steven. The gems and most of the town was hurt when he died, but the gems took it the hardest. They constantly blamed themselves, mostly being in their rooms when not out on missions, hardly talking to Greg or Connie anymore, and even keeping the shattered diamond in a bubble... covered in a bit of his blood. Some people try to offer words, but they just never land. One day, Pearl just went out for patrol and met up with Connie. After talking, Connie wanted to bring her over for tea or something, but then they see a new family move in down the street. A happy, energetic, and caring boy moved to beach city and wanted to go exploring after a long car ride. You meet with a tall, slim, and pale lady with some girl. She looked sad, so you hold out your hand and say something that would change your life forever... Do you wanna be friends?
