Sunny started to miss Basil as he lives in the city. He soon decides to go back for a few days along with someone he met at his school. But Basil hasn't been getting better.

Sunny moved with his mother to a far off town after Mari died, and got into some trouble with a boy named Nik. He has to live with his dad though, and reconnects with some old friends. The name Trees comes from the 3 songs by the band McCafferty. I don't support any of their actions but love their music, and it fits with the vibe. All the titles will be McCafferty song lyrics. Sunny is a bisexual, Kel is too, while Aubrey, Hero and Basil are straight. Sunny's father is abusive toward him ever since he knew so truth about Mari's death, and started to drink alcohol. Sunny waits for Basil to wake up inside the hospital after all his friends have left, his heart full of unresolved feelings for the boy who held his hand during his darkest moment and promised him that everything is going to be okay. Then he receives a call from his mom. She's taking Basil to live with her at their new home in the city. Sunny isn't sure how to feel about his best friend coming to live with him, but maybe it's better than being alone again.
