Monroe is a fishermen and sells fish of all kind. (He's seen as a merman/siren since he can swim and dive to depths that normal people can't. He can hold his breath for hours on end.) Karl Heisenberg works in a factory, does a lot of metal working. (He's a lycan, but he hides it very very well) Ethan and Mia are in an arranged marriage. Ethan is happy, but Mia isn't. She has cheated on Ethan multiple times, but hasn't divorced yet due to Rose (who might not be Ethan's child).

After his selfless sacrifice, Ethan Winters wakes following fifteen years of slumber to discover Mother Miranda had a fail-safe; she didn't die and nor did the other lords.
