Grian is a grown adult hermit with a stable adult life and mature adult thoughts. That's why it's more than a little embarrassing when he starts coughing up flowers every time he thinks of his best friend Scar. Everybody knows that Hanahaki disease is a teenage thing, right up there with acne, voice crackles and growth spurts. Fixing it is as easy (or as difficult) as resolving your feelings for your crush, but that usually requires actually talking to that person. Grian is bound and determined to do things the hard way. After season 6, Grian has been known to cause wars and resistances. This time, Grian decides he will not start a resistance or a fight. But things start to go downhill when RenDog is crowned king by BDoubleO100. Ren has created a new currency called "Royal Emeralds" and has taken over every shop. Grian becomes furious and tries to resist starting a resistance. But as the days go by, Grian starts to go mad. His robot son, Grumbot, gets worried about him. Grian calls upon GoodTimesWithScar, aka HoTGuY, to help him.

Grian has found refuge and safety in Hermitcraft. However, his past is quickly catching up to him, and with it comes the pain that he's been trying so desperately to hide.
